INSS (Inertial Navigation Survey System)
Multi-Shot’s “Target” system is an inertial navigation surveying system (INSS) especially designed for bore hole applications. It uses modern strapped-down gyros and accelerometers adopted from aero-space applications like unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). In conjunction with advanced signal processing techniques, this rugged package, which is protected by a pressure housing, provides unparalleled performance for all bore hole environmental conditions.
Surface Recording Gyro
The SRG is the tool of choice when instant survey data is required to save time. It is useful to orient motors, whipstocks and for setting templates for platform drilling operations.
Gyro Heat Shield System
Multi-Shot provides a proven, high temperature and rugged running gear system for gyroscopic applications. Designed to use Multi-Shot standard 1-1/2" gyroscopic and operating accessories, this system allows up to 11 hours of survey operation with borehole temperatures in excess of 600°F. Modular construction allows for easy field maintenance when required.
EMMT (Electronic Mini Multi-Shot Tool)
The EMMT can be positioned in small-diameter drill pipe and is particularly useful in coiled tubing operations. It can accommodate a radius of 35 feet compared to 80 feet for standard 1 3/4” OD multi-shot probes. It provides reliable sensor information for any type of directional drilling program. Short-radius applications can benefit from its small size and reliability in harsh drilling environments.
Magnetic Multi-Shot
Multi-Shot’s magnetic multishot surveying instrument provides accurate, reliable instrumentation for all types of borehole survey, and the instrument provides a continuous record of the inclination (drift angle) and direction of the borehole.
Digital Single-Shot
The Multi-Shot Digital Single-Shot Instrument is a State of the Art electronic measurement device. This instrument accurately measures the Earth’s gravity and magnetic field to simultaneously determine the inclination (drift-angle) and azimuth of a borehole. The instrument is also capable of providing orientation (tool-face) information along with several other important parameters. The acquiring and displaying of all the survey data can be standalone-achieved, quickly and reliably, with the push of a single button!
